What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, and pixels. They help sites remember preferences, measure traffic, and—in some cases—show embedded content.

How we use them

On jiss.tech, cookies and related technologies may be used to:

• Essential / functional. Keep the site working (for example security, load balancing, or remembering UI choices where applicable). Cloudflare Turnstile protects our public inquiry forms and may process a short-lived security token even when optional tools are declined.
• Analytics. Vercel Analytics measures aggregate site usage. After you accept optional tools, PostHog stores an anonymous identifier in local storage so we can understand page journeys and conversions, including privacy-masked session replays. Form autocapture is disabled, every replay input is masked, and both public lead-form areas are excluded from recordings. Lead field contents are not included in analytics events.
• Embedded tools. When you interact with a scheduling embed (such as Calendly) or maps, those providers may set cookies governed by their own policies.
• Advertising measurement. In production we may load Google tags to measure ad-related conversions when a visitor successfully submits the website contact form, and—when configured—when they tap the business phone number to call. Google sets and reads cookies according to its policies.

Your choices

When you first visit, we show a notice where you can Accept optional product analytics and embeds or Decline optional cookies and still use the site with a direct link to schedule instead. Your choice is stored in jiss-tech-cookie-consent in your browser's local storage until you clear site data.

Most browsers let you block or delete cookies. You can also use private browsing modes. Blocking certain cookies may limit features (for example embedded scheduling may not load correctly).
